What a great day the Alternative Press Fair was!

Lots of books were sold to lots of lovely people, and nice conversations were had. My hat off to the very organized and charming Peter Lally, Jimi Gherkin and Rich Cowdry.
I only wish I had known in advance about the snow storm; I would never have rushed off home and instead stayed to enjoy the evening fun. Oh well, at least during the three hour car journey home I had the famous Dr Parson's (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=26649732), the celebratic (I think that's a new word I've invented to mean, 'to have celebrity') Sean Duffield (www.dirtysquatters.com/papertiger/), the soon to be famous Hannah Eaton, and the lovely Jaz to keep me company.

Why hello,
Around about a year and a half ago the eminently talented Paul O'Connell (see The Sound Of Drowning in the links bar) approached me with a piece of writing that he needed some art work for. I was excited by the prospect and today our plan has reached fruition. The resulting comic goes by the name Green Sea Days and consists of a two sided stroll of comic art (29 x 42cm in size) bound in a 'toblerone' style cover.
Paul and I spent a nice day cutting and sticking bits of card and paper together to realize Paul's crazy and beautiful binding. Tomorrow Green Sea Days goes on sale for the first time at Comiket at the ICA in London (http://www.ica.org.uk/Comica%20Comiket+18413.twl).

Hello there,
A few months ago I was asked to write a short story for a radio programme called 'Stand Up Comics' by Gemma Cantlow (www.intervalsketches.blogspot.com/). A recording of it with sound by Ian Murphy (www.myspace.com/r0ttenslushy)
was broadcast on the excellent station Resonance fm (www.resonancefm.com) in august. Today I decided that since a few people I know couldn't hear it at the time I'd put it here, so here it is with a little animation and everything.
I spent last week on holiday in Athens. They have an amazing flea market in the centre of the city under the shadow of the Acropolis. It was in this ancient and venerated setting that an skinny Greek guy charged me four Euros for this little masterpiece. It's so bizarre but somehow so perfect that I had to put on this page. My friend Vasso (http://www.greeceisforlovers.com/) said that his eyes are like those of the characters in my cartoons.
