Off the Hook and Out of the Box

Hallo there,

I'm sorry for the lack of posting of late, things have been busy and I've let it all slip on this front but you have my word I'll be more on game from now on.

Here's a selection of some of the stuff I've been up too:

I'm one of a whole group of exciting artists that are taking part in the Brighton based exhibition 'Out of the Box'.  The show is being curated and hosted by the people at Ink Spot Press and includes box art by artist such as Amy Douglas, John Dilnot, and Hannah Chater, as well as a humble offering from me. I'll post some pics up here in the next couple of Days.

I run screen-printing workshops at Ink Spot, a really wonderful small press and well worth checking out if you're in the Brighton area and fancy learning some inky skills, here's their webpage: Ink Spot. The next workshop is due to happen this weekend, there are still some places available so if you're interested come along, it's good wholesome fun.

I also have a few paintings at an open house on Quebec Street for Brighton's May festival.

This show is always well worth checking out (the tea and cake an added bonus), with wide range of great artists contributing work. Here's some more info: Quebec St.

My last post was a note about the talk I did at Laydeez Do Comics in London town. I had a really great time, the crowd was warm and welcoming, I highly recommend popping along to one of the meetings if you have an interest in Comics, Art or Literature. Here's a pic of me in Action (follow the link to Laydeez blog for a full write up and info on the other contributors, Laydeez Do Comics).

As I've said I promise to stick some pictures of all these things up soon, in the meantime have a great rest of the week and stay dry (boo to the British weather!)

Bigger news is in the pipe line, so stay tuned...
